My collection contains one song from Yamraaj (1998).
I never thought I
would recall songs churned out by Mithun’s Dream Factory, which was located in
Ooty in the 1990s, because no self-respecting Hindi film music buff would be
caught dead listening to such tacky numbers.
But I must admit
that Ude Ude Hain Hosh – the song in question – was a guilty pleasure.
Therefore, it
became an addition to the songs from Jallaad (1995), Jurmana
(1996) and Shapath (1997) in my collection.
Shweta Shetty and
Sudesh Bhosle sang the song.
Dev Kohli wrote
the Anand-Milind composition.
